Hello, I’m Pete.

Service designer, innovator, entrepreneur, best-selling author, mens health spokesperson, suicide prevention campaigner and one of the UK’s leading voices on ethical use of Ai and data-driven technology. I have spent the last 15+ years helping humans discover the real value of their data and leveraging emerging technologies to help make life more community-centric and meaningful.

My belief is that we need to stop designing the next version of something that exists, and start designing the best versions of something new.

Don’t Do Things Better, Do Better Things.™

Pete’s books always take a philosophical look at the relationship between humans and technology, both psychological and biological. He likes to explore the way we need to think differently about a future where we live with Ai-powered-everything by asking the question ‘Why?’ more.

Watch

A popular keynote and after-dinner speaker, Pete talks all over the world about the effects of technology, data and Ai on humanity. He leaves audiences with questions, answers and opportunities to design better connections through technology, data, and our online self.

Soon

His latest project explores what happens when creativity collides with code — when the handmade gets harvested by machines. It’s a provocative, deeply personal journey into culture, craft, and the quiet disappearance of things we once thought untouchable.

Pete has a brilliant mind. His talks are not only cutting-edge, informative and thought-provoking, but he connects with an audience in a way few speakers can. If you've got an event coming up and you need a speaker book Pete Trainor. You won't regret it.

Pete has spoken at both of our flagship conferences and on both occasions he has delivered truly groundbreaking and thought provoking talks. We would recommend Pete as a speaker to any event organiser and we hope to welcome him back to one of our events soon.
